A telecine is a digital copy of the film reel. The quality should be good.
SCREENER (SCR)
A copy of pre-release VHS tape, usually contains a copyright message at points during the film.

How can I play the downloaded film?

It depends what the file format is. If the downloaded file is a .rar or .zip then it is a compressed archive containing you video. You'll need to extract the video before you can play it back, using a program like 7 Zip.

If the file format is .avi or .mpg then you can play the file directly with VLC media player. Even if the file has a different extension try VLC anyway, it can play almost everything! If you're still having problems getting something to play then as a question on the forum.
